Mantle Panel Ltd submitted the Mantle Building System for the newly created Shell Springboard Award at its inception, where the judging panel was looking for green technologies to produce energy. Scots Renewables won the overall title for its ability to generate power from ocean tides. The judging panel was impelled to create a runner-up category for our system though we do not generate power, because of the inherent benefits to the construction industry and climate change of our system.
