Thanks to R&D, the thermal resistance (U-Value) of a Mantle Panel is permanent! Insulation value losses will occur with some insulation products because the insulating blowing gases will eventually escape, insulation blankets sag, and fibre insulation can cause convection currents inside walls. Because a Mantle Panel's insulation is filled with ordinary air that remains static, inert and solid without any opportunity for air to move around, the thermal resistance will remain the same, indefinitely.
