Room-in-the-Roof

Simply stated, a room-in-the-roof is possible by the removal of load-bearing components that is in the way, by transferring loads differently.

The Mantle Building System allow clear spans in the attic, and sometimes designs allow dwarf walls based on ridge heights allowable by Planning, to create even more liveable space within the attic, or for use for storage.

To incorporate this function, speak with your architect or designer who will happily design accordingly, or send us your plans and we will always respond with a room-in-the-roof design.
