For us carbon neutrality is broken down into three categories, site erection, on-going energy maintenance and recycling by the occupiers: the first means that the self- insulating Mantle Building System saves, during its working life, far more energy than is expended through manufacture and erection of the product. The second is to incorporate enough sustainable energy creation equipment into the structure to meet site specific requirements. The third, and sometimes the most vital, is for the occupier to work with the local community to recycle properly: remember, everything and anything can be recycled these days, so everyone should do their bit.
The Mantle Building System is made from environmentally responsible materials, contains no CFC or formaldehydes and is 100% recyclable, its components being reconstituted into more Mantle Panels. Panels consist of a rigid core of light weight high density insulation material (HD-EPS) which is bonded to cementatious facings resulting in a single solid unit structure that allows no twisting, warping or racking whilst meeting or exceeding all known building regulations.

Green Guide to Housing
Our cementatious facing with a high volume of wood fibre content achieves an 'A' rating in the current Green Guide (Refurbishment external and internal wall insulation), if used in conjunction with an 'A' or 'B' level insulation. The insulation core we use is rated at 0.04 as Environmentally Profiled by BRE in accordance with ISO 14041.
One can't get much better than that!
