Because of the superior U-Value rating, The Mantle Building System offers a great advantage in that it requires a much smaller scale heating system which significantly reduces heating bills and, of course, reduces the overall energy consumption within the home in line with demands for limiting carbon emissions thanks to air-tightness and superior insulation. The cooling function of air-conditioning is assisted as well with the same energy saving properties, and the cost of a full heating /ventilation /cooling system is approximately the same as an old-fashioned central heating system.
